Hadith #51488
On the authority of Buraidah, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to a man wearing a similar ring: “Why should I smell the scent of idols on you?” So he threw it away and then came with an iron ring on it and said: “Why should I see on you the adornment of the people of Hell?” So he threw it out and said: O Messenger of God, from what? Do you take it? He said: “From paper, and do not complete it by a weight.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Al-Nasa’i.
