وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وعَدَني أَن يدْخل الجنةَ من أُمتي أربعمائةِ أَلْفٍ بِلَا حِسَابٍ» . فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ زِدْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَهَكَذَا فَحَثَا بِكَفَّيْهِ وَجَمَعَهُمَا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: زِدْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. قَالَ: وَهَكَذَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ دَعْنَا يَا أبكر. فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا اللَّهُ كُلَّنَا الْجَنَّةَ؟ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ خَلْقَهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِكَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ فَعَلَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَدَقَ عُمَرُ» رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة
On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, God Almighty promised me that four hundred thousand of my nation would enter Paradise without reckoning.” Abu Bakr said: Give us more, O Messenger of God. He said, and so he pressed his hands together and brought them together. Abu Bakr said: Give us more, O Messenger of God. He said: And so on Omar said: Let us, Abkar. Abu Bakr said: What do you have to do if God admits us all to Paradise? Then Omar said: God Almighty, if He wished for His creation to enter Paradise with one hand, would do so. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Omar spoke the truth.” He narrated it in Sharh. Sunnah
