Hadith #52195
On the authority of Jabir, he said: The people were thirsty on the day of Al-Hudaybiyyah, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, had a rak’ah in front of him, so he performed ablution from it, and then the people came forward. Likewise, they said: We have no water to perform ablutions with or to drink except what is in your place of rest. So the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, put his hand in it. Then he made the water gush out from between his fingers like springs. He said, “So we drank and performed ablution.” It was said to Jabir, “How much were you?” He said, “If we were.” One hundred thousand would be enough for us if we were fifteen hundred. agreed
