وَعنهُ قا ل: بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَشْتَدُّ فِي إِثْرِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَمَامَهُ إِذْ سَمِعَ ضَرْبَةً بِالسَّوْطِ فَوْقَهُ وَصَوْتُ الْفَارِسِ يَقُولُ: أَقْدِمْ حَيْزُومُ. إِذْ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْمُشْرِكِ أَمَامَهُ خَرَّ مُسْتَلْقِيًا فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا هُوَ قَدْ خُطِمَ أَنْفُهُ وَشُقَّ وَجْهُهُ كَضَرْبَةِ السَّوْطِ فَاخْضَرَّ ذَلِكَ أَجْمَعُ فَجَاءَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ فَحَدَّثَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «صَدَقْتَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ مَدَدِ السَّمَاءِ الثَّالِثَةِ» فَقَتَلُوا يَوْمَئِذٍ سَبْعِينَ وَأَسَرُوا سبعين. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On his authority, he said: While a man of the Muslims was running hard on that day in pursuit of a man of the polytheists in front of him, he heard a whip strike above him and a voice... Al-Faris says: Haizum came forward. When he looked at the polytheist in front of him, he fell down lying down and looked at him, and behold, his nose was cut and his nose was slit. His face was like the crack of a whip, so everyone turned green. Then the Ansari came and spoke to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: “You told the truth about that.” As far as the third heaven.” On that day, they killed seventy and captured seventy.
