حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ، وَلاَ وَصَبٍ، وَلاَّهَمٍّ، وَلاَ حَزَنٍ، وَلاَ أَذًى، وَلاَ غَمٍّ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ‏.‏
Abdullah bin Muhammad told us, he said: Abdul Malik bin Amr told us, he said: Zuhayr bin Muhammad told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr bin Halhalah, on the authority of Ata’ ibn Yasar, on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, and Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: What befalls a Muslim is No fatigue, no illness, no worry, no sadness, no harm, no grief, even the prick he is pricked by a thorn, except that God expiates some of his sins through it.
