Hadith #52272
وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُول: «مامن نَبِيٍّ يَمْرَضُ إِلَّا خُيِّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ» . وَكَانَ فِي شَكْوَاهُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ أَخَذَتْهُ بُحَّةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ من الصديقين والنبيين وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ. فَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ خُيِّرَ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
On her authority, she said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “There is no prophet who falls ill except that he is given a choice between this world and the hereafter.” While he was arrested, he was seized with severe distress, so I heard him say: With those whom You have bestowed, of the truthful ones, the prophets, the martyrs, and the righteous. So I knew that it was good. agreed
