Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith #52448
Hadith #52448
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: {
On the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may God be pleased with him), on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Journeys should only be undertaken to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca), the Al-Aqsa Mosque (in Jerusalem), and my mosque (in Medina)." This hadith is agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim), and the wording is from Bukhari.1 See hadith number (707). The original text reads: "the three," while in manuscript "A" it reads "three," which is consistent with what is found in the two Sahihs (Bukhari and Muslim).
