Hadith #53305
On the authority of Saeed bin Zayd - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “Whoever is killed while defending his property is a martyr.” Narrated by the four, It was authenticated by Al-Tirmidhi 1 - Sahih. It was narrated by Abu Dawud (4772), Al-Nasa’i (7/116), Al-Tirmidhi (1421), and Ibn Majah (2580) and he limited himself to this sentence only. The rest added: “And whoever is killed without his religion is a martyr, and whoever kills In addition to his blood, he is a martyr, and whoever is killed in defense of his family is a martyr.” The context is from Al-Tirmidhi - and not the first sentence according to Al-Nasa’i - and he said: “This is a good and authentic hadith.” I said: And see No. (1198).
