حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ، مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ، عَنْ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حِينَ بَعَثَنِي إِلَى الشَّامِ يَا يَزِيدُ إِنَّ لَكَ قَرَابَةً عَسَيْتَ أَنْ تُؤْثِرَهُمْ بِالْإِمَارَةِ وَذَلِكَ أَكْبَرُ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكَ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ شَيْئًا فَأَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَحَدًا مُحَابَاةً فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا حَتَّى يُدْخِلَهُ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ أَعْطَى أَحَدًا حِمَى اللَّهِ فَقَدْ انْتَهَكَ فِي حِمَى اللَّهِ شَيْئًا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ أَوْ قَالَ تَبَرَّأَتْ مِنْهُ ذِمَّةُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
Yazid ibn Abd Rabbo narrated to us, he said, Baqiyya ibn al-Walid narrated to us, he said, a sheikh from Quraysh narrated to me, on the authority of Raja’ ibn Haywa, on the authority of Junada. Ibn Abi Umayyah, on the authority of Yazid Ibn Abi Sufyan, he said: Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, said when he sent me to the Levant, O Yazid, you are a relative Perhaps you will prefer them to the leadership, and that is the greatest fear for you, for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Who is in charge of the matter?” He did something to the Muslims and appointed someone over them out of favor, and upon him is the curse of God. God will not accept from him any good deed or justice until He admits it to him. Hell, and whoever gives anyone the protection of God has violated something in the protection of God that is not due to it, the curse of God will be upon him, or he will be declared free of God’s protection. Glory be to Him...
