Hadith #45062
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُقَسِّمَ بُدْنَهُ أَقُومُ عَلَيْهَا وَأَنْ أُقَسِّمَ جُلُودَهَا وَجِلَالَهَا وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ لَا أُعْطِيَ الْجَازِرَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا وَقَالَ نَحْنُ نُعْطِيهِ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا.
Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abdul Karim, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Ibn Abi Laila, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. He said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded me He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, told me to divide his body so that I could take care of it, and to divide its hides and skins, and he commanded me not to give any of it to the butcher. And he said, “We will give it to him from our own hands.”
