حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ أَحَدُنَا إِذَا هُوَ أَجْنَبَ ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ لِيَنَمْ.
Ya’qub told us, my father told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, Nafi’ told me, on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, on the authority of his father, he said, I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace Peace and blessings of God be upon him. What should one of us do if he is junub and then wants to sleep before he takes a bath? He said, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said Peace and blessings be upon him, to perform his ablution for prayer and then to sleep.
