حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ الْحَدَثِ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ.
Affan told us, Khaled told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Asim bin Ubaid Allah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, on the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, May God be pleased with him. He said, I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, after the incident, performing ablution and wiping over his socks.
