Hadith #44626
Affan told us, Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Suleiman Al-Amash, on the authority of Shaqiq, on the authority of Salman bin Rabi’ah, he said: I heard Omar, may God be pleased with him. He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, swore an oath, so I said, O Messenger of God, no one other than these has more right than them, the people of Suffah. He said Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “You give me a choice between asking me an obscene question or being miserly to me, and I am not stingy.”
