حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابَ فَكَانَ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةُ الرَّجْمِ فَقَرَأْنَا بِهَا وَعَقَلْنَاهَا وَوَعَيْنَاهَا فَأَخْشَى أَنْ يَطُولَ بِالنَّاسِ عَهْدٌ فَيَقُولُوا إِنَّا لَا نَجِدُ آيَةَ الرَّجْمِ فَتُتْرَكَ فَرِيضَةٌ أَنْزَلَهَا اللَّهُ تَعَالَى وَإِنَّ الرَّجْمَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى حَقٌّ عَلَى مَنْ زَنَى إِذَا أَحْصَنَ مِنْ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ إِذَا قَامَتْ الْبَيِّنَةُ أَوْ كَانَ الْحَبَلُ أَوْ الِاعْتِرَافُ.
Abdul Rahman told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abdullah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said, Omar, may God be pleased with him, said Indeed, God Almighty sent Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and revealed to him the Book, and while He revealed to him the verse of stoning So we read it, understood it, and were aware of it, but I fear that the people’s era will be long and they will say, “We do not find a verse about stoning,” and then the obligation He revealed will be abandoned. God Almighty, and that stoning in the Book of God Almighty is due on whoever commits adultery if he is married, whether men or women, if evidence is established or It was the pregnancy or the confession
