Hadith #44772
Abd al-Rahman told us, on the authority of Malik, on the authority of Zayd ibn Aslam, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, who said: I got pregnant on a mare in For the sake of God, its owner lost it, so I wanted to buy it, and I thought that he sold it cheaply, so I said, “Until I ask the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not buy it, even if he gives it to you for a dirham, for the one who is unjust in his charity is like a dog that is unjust in his vomit.”
