Hadith #44841
Muhammad ibn Ja`far told us, Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Qatada, he said, I heard Rafi`, Abu Al-Aliyah, speaking on the authority of Ibn Abbas, men told me, Shu'bah said, "I think he is one of the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, 'The most impressive of them to me is Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him.' On his authority, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade prayer in two hours after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets and after the morning prayer until it rises. .
