حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمَيِّتُ يُعَذَّبُ فِي قَبْرِهِ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ حَجَّاجٌ بِالنِّيَاحَةِ عَلَيْهِ.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah and Hajjaj narrated to us, he said Shu`bah narrated to me, he said I heard Qatada narrating on the authority of Sa`id ibn al-Musayyab, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of his father, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The dead person is tortured in his grave for what he wailed over, and Hajjaj said: By mourning for him...
