حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ أَتَى عُثْمَانُ الْمَقَاعِدَ فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَكَذَا يَتَوَضَّأُ يَا هَؤُلَاءِ أَكَذَاكَ قَالُوا نَعَمْ لِنَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَهُ.
Ibn al-Ashja`i told us, my father told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Salim Abi al-Nadr, on the authority of Busr ibn Sa`id, he said: Uthman came to the seats and called With ablution, he rinsed his mouth and nose, then washed his face three times and his hands three times, then wiped his head and feet three times, then said I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performing ablution like this. Oh, these people are liars. They said yes to a group of the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And peace be upon him...
