حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْجَرِّ، فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْجَرِّ وَعَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَعَنْ الْمُزَفَّتِ‏.‏
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Salamah ibn Kuhail, he said, I heard Abul-Hakam, he said, I asked Ibn Umar about the genitive, so he narrated to us On the authority of Omar, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade dragging, saddlebags, and saddlebags.
