Hadith #44970
قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْحَجَبَةِ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ أَوْ قَالَ فِي الْمُحْرِمِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى عَيْنَهُ أَنْ يُضَمِّدَهَا بِالصَّبِرِ.
Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ayyub ibn Musa ibn Amr ibn Saeed, on the authority of Nabih ibn Wahb, a man from Al-Hujabah, on the authority of Aban ibn Uthman, May God be pleased with him, that he narrated on the authority of Uthman, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, permitted or said regarding Muharram if His eye wanted to bandage it with patience.
