Hadith #44864
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَبَّلَهُ وَالْتَزَمَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَ حَفِيًّا يَعْنِي الْحَجَرَ.
Waki` narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Abd al-Ala, on the authority of Suwayd bin Ghafla, that Omar, may God be pleased with him, kissed him. He adhered to it and then said, “I saw Abu Al-Qasim, may God bless him and grant him peace, greeting you, meaning the stone.”
