حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الثَّعْلَبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ الطُّهَوِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ خَادِمًا، لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْدَثَتْ فَأَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُقِيمَ عَلَيْهَا الْحَدَّ فَأَتَيْتُهَا فَوَجَدْتُهَا لَمْ تَجِفَّ مِنْ دَمِهَا فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ إِذَا جَفَّتْ مِنْ دَمِهَا فَأَقِمْ عَلَيْهَا الْحَدَّ أَقِيمُوا الْحُدُودَ عَلَى مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ.
Waki` narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abd al-A`la al-Thaalabi, on the authority of Abu Jamila al-Tahwi, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that he was a servant, To the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, she committed a crime, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered me to perform the punishment on her, so I did it. I found that her blood had not dried, so I went to him and told him, and he said, “If some of her blood has dried, then carry out the punishment upon her. Perform the punishment for what she possessed.” Your oaths...
