Hadith #45202
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَرَى أَنَّ بَاطِنَ الْقَدَمَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالْمَسْحِ مِنْ ظَاهِرِهِمَا حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ ظَاهِرَهُمَا.
Waki` narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abd Khair, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: I used to see that the soles of the feet More deserving of wiping their backs, until I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wiping their backs.
