Hadith #45203
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُنْزِيَ حِمَارًا عَلَى فَرَسٍ.
Waki` narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Uthman al-Thaqafi, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of Salem bin Abi al-Ja`d, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade us from riding a donkey over a horse.
