Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45241

Abdullah told us, he said: I found this hadith in my father’s book, and my knowledge is greater, God willing, because I heard it from him. Abu Sa’id told us A servant of Banu Hashim, Abdullah bin Lahi’ah narrated to us, Abdullah bin Hubayra narrated to us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Zurayr Al-Ghafiqi, on the authority of Ali bin Abu Talib said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, led us in prayer one day, then he left, then he came with water dripping on his head, and he led us in prayer, then he said, “I prayed.” I am beside you, so whoever is afflicted with something similar to what befell me, or finds rice in his stomach, let him do the same as I did.
