Hadith #45287
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَنِي غَيْرَ، مَرَّةٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مِنْ كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَأَوْسَطِهِ وَآخِرِهِ وَانْتَهَى وِتْرُهُ إِلَى آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ.
Affan told us, Shu`bah told us, Abu Ishaq told me something else, once he said, I heard Asim bin Damra, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him. That he said throughout the night, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed the Witr prayer from its beginning, middle, and end, and his Witr ended until Late night...
