Hadith #45298
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ خَيْرُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَبَعْدَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَلَوْ شِئْتُ أَخْبَرْتُكُمْ بِالثَّالِثِ لَفَعَلْتُ‏.‏
Abdullah narrated to us, Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Juhayfah, he said, Ali, may God be pleased with him, said The best of this nation after its Prophet is Abu Bakr, and after Abu Bakr Omar, may God be pleased with him, and if I wished, I could tell you about the third.
