Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45374

Muhammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, on the authority of Aban bin Salih, on the authority of Ikrimah, he said: I spoke with Al-Hussein bin Ali, may God be pleased with him. From Muzdalifah, and I continued to hear him say the talbiyah until he stoned Jamarat al-Aqaba. I asked him and he said, “I left Muzdalifah with my father, so I did not stop.” I heard him reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamarat al-Aqaba, so I asked him and he said, “I went with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, from Muzdalifah, and I continued to hear him.” He performs the Talbiyah until he stones Jamarat al-Aqaba.
