Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45409

Abdullah narrated to us, Ali bin Hakim Al-Awdi narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Sa’id bin Wahb, on the authority of Zaid bin Yathai’, they said, “Ali appealed to the people in the spacious area. Whoever heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘On the day of Ghadir Khumm,’ he would stand up.” He said, “And he stood up.” On the part of Sa`id, six, and on the authority of Zaid, six, and they testified that they heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say to Ali, may God be pleased with him. On the day of Ghadir Khumm, is not God more deserving of the believers? They said, “Yes.” He said, “O God. Whose master I am, whose master is Ali.” Oh God, protect us. Whoever is loyal to him and who is hostile to him who is hostile to him. Abdullah narrated to us, Ali bin Hakim narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Amr Dhu Murr, with a similar hadith of Abu Ishaq, meaning on the authority of Saeed and Zayd, and he added to it, and supported him who supported him, and abandoned him who abandoned him.
