قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِيسَى، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمُعَصْفَرِ وَعَنْ تَخَتُّمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ فِي الرُّكُوعِ‏.‏
He said: I read about Abd al-Rahman on the authority of Malik, on the authority of Nafi’, and Ishaq, meaning Ibn Isa, narrated to us. Malik told me, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibrahim. Ibn Abdullah Ibn Hunayn, Ishaq said on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade Wearing coarse and saffron clothing, wearing gold rings, and reciting the Qur’an while bowing.
