Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45589

Abdullah told us, Muhammad bin Bakkar, the client of Banu Hashim, and Abu Rabi’ al-Zahrani told us, they said: Abu Waki’ al-Jarrah bin Malih told us, On the authority of Abd al-A’la al-Thaalabi, on the authority of Abu Jamila, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, and Abu al-Rabi’ said in his hadith on the authority of Maysarah Abu Jamila, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent me to a black slave of his who had committed adultery. To flog her, he said, “I found it in her blood, so I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and told him about that, and he said to me, ‘If you come Of her bleeding, give her fifty lashes, and Abu al-Rabi’ said in his hadith, he said: So I informed the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: If some of her blood dries So he limited it and then said, “Establish the borders.”
