حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَلَا جُنُبٌ وَلَا كَلْبٌ.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Ali ibn Mudrak, on the authority of Abu Zur’ah, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Naji, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. The angels said, “Do not enter a house in which there is a picture, nor a genius, nor a dog.”
