Hadith #45625
Muhammad bin Jaafar told us, Sa’id told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Al-Hasan, that Omar bin Al-Khattab wanted to stone an insane woman, so Ali told him What is the matter with that? He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: The pen is lifted from the sleeper for three times until he wakes up. And on behalf of a child until he has a wet dream, and on behalf of an insane person until he recovers or becomes sensible. Umar, may God be pleased with him, withdrew from her.
