Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45717

Abdullah narrated to us, Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us, and Muhammad bin Ubaid Al-Muharbi narrated to us, they said: A partner narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Hasna, on the authority of Al-Hakam, on the authority of Hanash, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded me to sacrifice two rams on his behalf. I like to do it, and Muhammad bin Ubaid Al-Muharbi said in his hadith: Two rams were sacrificed on his behalf, one on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And the other was about him, and it was said to him, and he said, “He commanded me, so I will never leave him.”
