حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي أَبَا عُمَرَ الْقَارِئَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَظْهَرَهُ وَحَفِظَهُ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَشَفَّعَهُ فِي عَشَرَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ كُلُّهُمْ قَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُمْ النَّارُ.
Abdullah told us, Muhammad bin Bakkar told us, Hafs bin Sulayman, meaning Abu Omar al-Qaari, told us, on the authority of Kathir bin Zazan, on the authority of Asim Bin Damra, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever learns the Qur’an So he preserved it and preserved it. God admitted him into Paradise and made his intercession for ten of his household, all of whom were destined for Hell.
