حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحْرِزُ بْنُ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاضِيًا فَقَالَ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْخَصْمَانِ فَلَا تَقْضِ عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا حَتَّى تَسْمَعَ مِنْ الْآخَرِ فَإِنَّهُ يَبِينُ لَكَ الْقَضَاءُ.
Abdullah told us, Mahrez bin Aoun bin Abi Aoun told me, Sharik told us, on the authority of Simak, on the authority of Hanash, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent me as a judge and said, “When two adversaries come to you, do not judge one of them until you hear from the other.” For He makes clear to you the judgment
