حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَزْدِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ حُكَيْمِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ سَفَرًا قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصُولُ وَبِكَ أَحُولُ وَبِكَ أَسِيرُ.
Abdullah told us, Nasr bin Ali Al-Azdi told me, my father told me, on the authority of Abu Salam Abdul Malik bin Muslim bin Salam, on the authority of Imran Ibn Dhabyan, on the authority of Hakim Ibn Saad, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, that whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to travel He said, O God, by You I turn, and by You I turn, and by You I am captive.
