حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا لَكَ تَنَوَّقُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَلَا تَزَوَّجُ إِلَيْنَا قَالَ وَعِنْدَكَ شَيْءٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ ابْنَةُ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ تِلْكَ ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ.
Muhammad bin Ubaid narrated to us, Al-Amash narrated to us, on the authority of Saad bin Ubaidah, on the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said, “O Messenger of God, why do you have sex with Quraysh and not marry to us?
