Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45791

Abu Sa`id narrated to us, Abdullah bin Lahi’ah narrated to us, Yazid bin Abi Habib narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Khair, on the authority of Abdullah bin Zurayr, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, said: A mule was given to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he rode it. Some of his companions said, “If We took something like this. He said, “Do you want to ride donkeys on horses? Only those who do not know do that.”
