Hadith #45793
Abu Sa’id told us, Hammad bin Salama told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Abu Dhabyan, that Ali, may God be pleased with him, said to Omar, O Commander of the Faithful: Did you not hear the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: The pen has been lifted from the sleeper for three days until he wakes up? And on behalf of the young until he grows up, and on behalf of the afflicted until he becomes wise.
