Hadith #44774
Ismail bin Ibrahim told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Ishaq, on the authority of Salem bin Abdullah, who said: Omar was a jealous man, so whenever he went out Atika, the daughter of Zaid, followed him to prayer. He hated her going out and hated preventing her. He used to say that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “When your women ask you for permission to pray, do not prevent them.”
