حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ خَمْسٍ مِنْ الْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَسُوءِ الْعُمُرِ‏.‏
Abu Saeed and Hussein bin Muhammad narrated to us, they said: Israel narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Amr bin Maimun, on the authority of Omar, may God be pleased with him. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to seek refuge from five things: stinginess, cowardice, temptation in the chest, the torment of the grave, and evil. Age...
