وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: فَقَدْتُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً فَإِذَا هُوَ بِالْبَقِيعِ فَقَالَ
" أَكُنْتِ تَخَافِينَ أَنْ يَحِيفَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَرَسُولُهُ؟ قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّكَ أَتَيْتَ بَعْضَ نِسَائِكَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَنْزِلُ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَغْفِرُ لِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَدَدِ شَعْرِ غَنَمِ كَلْبٍ " رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَزَادَ رَزِينٌ: «مِمَّنِ اسْتَحَقَّ النَّارَ» وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَعْنِي البُخَارِيّ يضعف هَذَا الحَدِيث
On the authority of Aisha, she said: I visited the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, one night, and suddenly he was at Al-Baqi’ and said, “Are you afraid that God will be unjust? upon you and His Messenger? I said: O Messenger of God, I thought that you had intercourse with some of your wives. He said: God Almighty descends on the night of midnight. Sha`ban to the lowest heaven, and He will forgive more than the number of hairs on the sheep of a dog.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Razin added: “From among those who deserve Hellfire.” Al-Tirmidhi said: I heard Muhammad, meaning Al-Bukhari, deem this hadith weak.
