Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4514
Abu Hurairah (RA)
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ دَاء إِلا أنزل لَهُ دَوَاء» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God has not sent down a disease without sending down a cure for it.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4515
Jabir (RA)
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِكُلِّ دَاءٍ دَوَاءٌ فَإِذَا أُصِيبَ دَوَاءٌ الدَّاءَ بَرَأَ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Jabir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Every disease has a cure, so if a cure is applied to the disease, it will heal, God willing.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4516
Ibn Abbas (RA)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثٍ: فِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٍ بِنَارٍ وَأَنَا أَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَيِّ ". رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Healing comes in three things: in a cup of cup, in a drink of honey, or in cauterization with fire, and I forbid my nation from cauterization.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4517
وَعَن جابرٍ قَالَ: رُمِيَ أَبِي يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ فَكَوَاهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Jabir, he said: My father was thrown on his ankles on the Day of Ahzab, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, cauterized him. Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4518
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: رُمِيَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فِي أكحله فحمسه النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ بِمِشْقَصٍ ثمَّ ورمت فحمسه الثَّانِيَة. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On his authority, he said: Saad bin Muadh was thrown in his ankle, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, touched him with his hand with a razor, then he threw and touched him the second time. Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4519
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى أُبيِّ بن كَعْب طَبِيبا فَقَطَعَ مِنْهُ عِرْقًا ثُمَّ كَوَاهُ عَلَيْهِ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent a doctor to Ubayy bin Ka’b, who cut off a vein from him and then ironed it on him. Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4520
Aba Huraira Told of Hearing God's Messenger Say
وَعَن أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «فِي الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ» . قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: السَّامُ: الْمَوْتُ وَالْحَبَّةُ السَّوْدَاءُ: الشُّونِيزُ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “In the black seed there is a cure for every disease except the poisonous.” Ibn Shihab said: The poison means death, and the black seed means the black seed.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4521
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: أَخِي اسْتَطْلَقَ بَطْنُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اسقيه عسَلاً» فَسَقَاهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ: سَقَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا اسْتِطْلَاقًا فَقَالَ لَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ. ثُمَّ جَاءَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَقَالَ: «اسْقِهِ عَسَلًا» . فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ سَقَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُ إِلَّا اسْتِطْلَاقًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَكَذَبَ بَطْنُ أَخِيكَ» . فَسَقَاهُ فَبَرَأَ
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said: A man came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and said: My brother’s stomach vomited, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: He said: “Give him honey to drink.” He gave him a drink, then came and said: I gave him a drink, but it only made him more diligent, so he said to him three times. Then he came The fourth time, he said: “Give him honey to drink.” He said: I gave him water, but it only increased his thirst. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God has told the truth and your brother’s stomach has lied.” He gave him something to drink and he was healed

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4522
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ أَمْثَلَ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحجامَة والقُسْط البحري»
On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, the most effective means of treatment with which you have been treated are cupping and sea bass.”

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4523
He Reported God's Messenger As Saying
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُعَذِّبُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ بِالْغَمْزِ مِنَ الْعُذْرَةِ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْقُسْطِ»
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not torture your children by insinuating someone to excuse you with justice.”

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4524
Umm Qais (RA)
وَعَن أُمِّ قَيْسٍ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «على مَ تَدْغَرْنَ أَوْلَادَكُنَّ بِهَذَا الْعِلَاقِ؟ عَلَيْكُنَّ بِهَذَا الْعُودِ الْهِنْدِيِّ فَإِنَّ فِيهِ سَبْعَةَ أَشْفِيَةٍ مِنْهَا ذَاتُ الْجَنْبِ يُسْعَطُ مِنَ الْعُذْرَةِ وَيُلَدُّ مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجنب»
On the authority of Umm Qais, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Why are you deceiving your children with this relationship?” “You must adhere to this Indian oud, for there are seven cures in it, including pleurisy.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4525
Aisha (RA)
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَرَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْحمى من فيج جَهَنَّم فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ»
On the authority of Aisha and Rafi’ bin Khadij, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: “Fever is from the boiling waters of Hell, so cool it with water.”

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4526
وَعَن أنسٍ قَالَ: رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الرُّقْيَةِ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ وَالْحُمَّةِ وَالنَّمْلَةِ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave permission to perform ruqyah for the evil eye, fever, and ant. Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4527
Aisha (RA)
وَعَن عَائِشَة قَالَتْ: أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَرْقِيَ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ
On the authority of Aisha, she said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us to seek protection from the spring.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4528
Umm Salama (RA)
وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي بَيْتِهَا جَارِيَةً فِي وجهِها سفعة يَعْنِي صُفْرَةً فَقَالَ: «اسْتَرْقُوا لَهَا فَإِنَّ بِهَا النَّظْرَةَ»
On the authority of Umm Salamah, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw in her house a maid with a blotch on her face, meaning yellow, and he said: “Care for her, for she has the look.”

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4529
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرُّقَى فَجَاءَ آلُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَتْ عِنْدَنَا رُقْيَةٌ نَرْقِي بِهَا مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ وَأَنْتَ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الرُّقَى فَعَرَضُوهَا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: «مَا أَرَى بِهَا بَأْسًا مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْفَعْهُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Jabir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade ruqyah, so the family of Amr ibn Hazm came and said: O Messenger of God, it was We have a ruqyah with which we can recite ruqyah for the scorpion, and you forbade the ruqyah, so they showed it to him and he said: “I see no harm in it for those of you who are able to do it.” If he benefits his brother, let him benefit him.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4530
Auf B. Malik Al-Ashjai (RA)
وَعَن عوفِ بن مَالك الْأَشْجَعِيّ قَالَ: كُنَّا نَرْقِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ: «اعْرِضُوا عَلَيَّ رُقَاكُمْ لَا بَأْسَ بِالرُّقَى مَا لم يكن فِيهِ شرك» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja’i, he said: We were performing ruqyah in pre-Islamic times, so we said: O Messenger of God, how do you think about that? He said: “Show me your ruqyah. There is no harm in ruqyah as long as there is no shirk in it.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4531
Ibn Abbas (RA)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ فَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ سَابَقَ الْقَدَرِ سَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ وَإِذَا اسْتُغْسِلْتُمْ فاغسِلوا» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “The eye is a right, so if there was something that preceded its destiny, the eye would precede it. And when you wash So wash.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4532
عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ قَالَ: قَالُوا: يَا رَسُول الله أفنتداوى؟ قَالَ: «نعم يَا عبد اللَّهِ تَدَاوَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَضَعْ دَاءً إِلَّا وَضَعَ لَهُ شِفَاءً غَيْرَ دَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ الْهَرم» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Osama bin Sharik, he said: They said: O Messenger of God, did you seek medical treatment? He said: “Yes, O Abdullah, seek treatment, for God has not created a disease without creating a cure for it, other than a single disease of old age.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawood

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4533
Uqba bin Amir (RA)
وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُكْرِهُوا مَرْضَاكُمْ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُمْ وَيَسْقِيهِمْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do not force your patients to eat, for God feeds them.” And give them water.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a strange hadith.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4534
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَوَى أَسْعَدَ بْنَ زُرَارَةَ مِنَ الشَّوْكَةِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب
On the authority of Anas, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, cauterized Asaad bin Zurarah with a thorn. Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: This is a strange hadith.

وَعَن زيد بن أَرقم قَالَ: أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَتَدَاوَى مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ بِالْقُسْطِ البحريِّ وَالزَّيْت. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On the authority of Zaid bin Arqam, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered us to treat pleurisy with costus and oil. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4536
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْعَتُ الزَّيْتَ وَالْوَرْسَ مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On his authority, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to describe oil and wars as pleurisy. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4537
Asma' bint 'Umais (RA)
وَعَن أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَهَا: «بمَ تستَمشِينَ؟» قَالَت: بالشُّبْرمِ قَالَ: «حارٌّ حارٌّ» . قَالَتْ: ثُمَّ اسْتَمْشَيْتُ بِالسَّنَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ أَنَّ شَيْئًا كَانَ فِيهِ الشِّفَاءُ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ لَكَانَ فِي السَّنَا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيث حسن غَرِيب
On the authority of Asmaa bint Umays, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked her: “What do you walk with?” She said: With shabbam, he said: “hot, hot.” She said: Then I took a breath with senna, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If there was anything that could cure death, it would be with senna.” He narrated it Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4538
وشطره الأول (صَحِيحٌ)
وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ الدَّاءَ وَالدَّوَاءَ وَجَعَلَ لِكُلِّ دَاءٍ دَوَاءً فَتَدَاوُوا وَلَا تداوَوْا بحرامٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
The first half (Sahih) On the authority of Abu al-Darda’, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, God has sent down the disease and the cure, and has made for every disease a cure, so seek treatment and do not seek treatment. “Forbiddenly.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4539
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدَّوَاءِ الْخَبِيثِ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade the use of harmful medicine. Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4540
وَعَنْ سَلْمَى خَادِمَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: مَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ يَشْتَكِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَجَعًا فِي رَأْسِهِ إِلَّا قَالَ: «احْتَجِمْ» وَلَا وَجَعًا فِي رِجْلَيْهِ إِلَّا قَالَ: «اخْتَضِبْهُمَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Salma, the servant of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, she said: No one complained to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, of pain in his head except He said: “Have cupping,” and there was no pain in his legs except that he said: “Have them cupped.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4541
وعنها قَالَت: مَا كَانَ يَكُونَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُرْحَةٌ وَلَا نَكْبَةٌ إِلَّا أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضَعَ عَلَيْهَا الْحِنَّاء. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
On her authority, she said: There was never a time when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had an ulcer or a calamity without ordering me to apply henna to it. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4542
Abu Kabsha al-Anmari (RA)
وَعَن أبي كَبْشَة الْأَنْمَارِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يحتجم على هامته وَبَين كفيه وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ أَهْرَاقَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الدِّمَاءِ فَلَا يَضُرُّهُ أَنْ لَا يَتَدَاوَى بِشَيْءٍ لِشَيْءٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Abu Kabsha Al-Anmari: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to cup his head and between his palms while saying: “Whoever sheds any of this blood, let him It would harm him if he did not seek treatment with something for the sake of something.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4543
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ عَلَى وَرِكِهِ مِنْ وَثْءٍ كَانَ بِهِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Jabir: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was cupped on his hip because of a pimple that was on it. Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4544
Ibn Masud (RA)
وَعَن ابنِ مَسْعُود قَالَ: حَدَّثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ علن لَيْلَةَ أُسَرِيَ بِهِ: أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَمُرَّ عَلَى مَلَأٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ إِلَّا أَمَرُوهُ: «مُرْ أُمَّتَكَ بِالْحِجَامَةِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيث حسن غَرِيب
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, narrated publicly on the night he was taken captive: that he did not pass by a group of angels without they ordered him: “Pass.” “Your nation is addicted to cupping.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4545
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ: إِنَّ طَبِيبًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ضِفْدَعٍ يَجْعَلُهَا فِي دَوَاءٍ فَنَهَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Uthman: A doctor asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, about a frog that he would use in medicine, but the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade him. He avoided killing her. Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4546
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحْتَجِمُ فِي الْأَخْدَعَيْنِ وَالْكَاهِلِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَزَادَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ: وَكَانَ يحتجمُ سبعَ عشرَة وتسع عشرَة وَإِحْدَى وَعشْرين
On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to use cupping for the two cheeks and the ankle. Narrated by Abu Dawud, and Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah added: He used to cup seventeen, nineteen, and twenty-one days.

Mishkat al-Masabih # 23/4547
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَسْتَحِبُّ الْحِجَامَةَ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَتِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَإِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ. رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, recommended cupping for the days of the seventeen and nineteen days. And twenty-one. Narrated in Sharh Al-Sunnah

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنِ احْتَجَمَ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَتِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَإِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ كَانَ شِفَاءً لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاء» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “Whoever uses cupping on the seventeen, nineteen, or twenty-one days will be cured.” He has every disease.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

وَعَن كبشةَ بنت أبي بكرةَ: أَنَّ أَبَاهَا كَانَ يُنْهِي أَهْلَهُ عَنِ الْحِجَامَةِ يَوْمَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ وَيَزْعُمُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَّ يَوْمَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ يَوْمُ الدَّمِ وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَرْقَأُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Kabsha bint Abi Bakra: Her father used to forbid his family from cupping on Tuesdays, and he claimed on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: “That Tuesday is the day of bloodshed, and there is an hour when there is no quenching.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

al-Zuhri (RA)
وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ مُرْسَلًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مِنْ احْتَجَمَ يَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ أَوْ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فَأَصَابَهُ وَضَحٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ: وَقَدْ أسْند وَلَا يَصح
On the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: “Whoever cups his cup on a Wednesday or a Saturday and is struck by wudhu, no one will blame anyone except him.” Himself. It was narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud and he said: It has been transmitted and is not authentic.

He reported in mursal form that God’s messenger said
وَعَنْهُ مُرْسَلًا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ احْتَجَمَ أَوِ اطَّلَى يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ أَوِ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ فِي الوَضَحِ» . رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة
And on his authority, on the authority of a messenger, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever cups his cup or prolongs it on a Saturday or a Wednesday, let him blame no one but himself. Clarity. Narrated in Sharh Al-Sunnah

وَعَنْ زَيْنَبَ امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَأَى فِي عُنُقِي خَيْطًا فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا؟ فَقُلْتُ: خَيْطٌ رُقِيَ لِي فِيهِ قَالَتْ: فَأَخَذَهُ فَقَطَعَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَنْتُمْ آلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ لَأَغْنِيَاءٌ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُول: «إِنَّ الرُّقَى وَالتَّمَائِمَ وَالتِّوَلَةَ شِرْكٌ» فَقُلْتُ: لِمَ تَقُولُ هَكَذَا؟ لَقَدْ كَانَتْ عَيْنِي تُقْذَفُ وَكُنْتُ أَخْتَلِفُ إِلَى فُلَانٍ الْيَهُودِيِّ فَإِذَا رَقَاهَا سَكَنَتْ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: إِنَّمَا ذَلِكِ عَمَلُ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ يَنْخَسُهَا بِيَدِهِ فَإِذَا رُقِيَ كُفَّ عَنْهَا إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَكْفِيكِ أَنْ تَقُولِي كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءٌ لَا يُغَادِرُ سقما» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Zainab, the wife of Abdullah bin Masoud, that Abdullah saw a thread around my neck and said: What is this? So I said: A thread on which a ruqyah was made for me. She said: So he took it and cut it, then said: You, the family of Abdullah, are free from polytheism. I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. He says: “Indeed Ruqyah, amulets, and charms are polytheism.” So I said: Why do you say that? My eyes were vomiting and I was talking to so-and-so, a Jew. When he said the qiyyah to them, they would calm down. Abdullah said: That was the work of Satan. He pricks it with his hand, and when he recites it, he stops it. It is enough for you to You say as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say: “Remove the affliction, Lord of the people, and heal, You are the Healer. There is no cure except Yours, a cure that cannot be cured.” "He leaves a sickness behind." Narrated by Abu Dawood

وَعَن جَابر قَالَ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النُّشْرَةِ فَقَالَ: «هُوَ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Abdullah ibn Umar (RA)
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا أُبَالِي مَا أَتَيْتُ إِنْ أَنَا شَرِبْتُ تِرْيَاقًا أَوْ تَعَلَّقْتُ تَمِيمَةً أَوْ قُلْتُ الشِّعْرَ مِنْ قِبَلِ نَفْسِي» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “I do not care what I come to, whether I drink the antidote or become attached to it.” As an amulet, or I recited the poetry myself.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

Al-Mughira bin Shuba (RA)
وَعَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ اكْتَوَى أَوِ اسْتَرْقَى فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَ التَّوَكُّلِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever hides his trust or seeks relief is free from trust.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah

وَعَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عبدِ الله بن عُكيم وَبِهِ حُمْرَةٌ فَقُلْتُ: أَلَا تُعَلِّقُ تَمِيمَةً؟ فَقَالَ: نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَعَلَّقَ شَيْئًا وُكِلَ إِليهِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Issa bin Hamzah, he said: I entered upon Abdullah bin Uqaym and he had a rash, and I said: Don’t you wear an amulet? He said: We seek refuge in God from that. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever becomes attached to something and is entrusted to it.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

Imran bin Husain (RA)
وَعَن عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
وَرَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه عَن بُرَيْدَة
On the authority of Imran bin Husayn that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There is no ruqyah except for an eye or a fever.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Abu Dawood It was narrated by Ibn Majah on the authority of Buraidah

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ أَوْ دَمٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

وَعَن أَسمَاء بنت عُميس قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ وَلَدَ جَعْفَرٍ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمُ الْعَيْنُ أَفَأَسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ فَإِنَّهُ لَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ سَابِقُ الْقَدَرِ لَسَبَقَتْهُ العينُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Asma’ bint Umays, she said: O Messenger of God, the evil eye strikes the descendants of Ja’far. Should I seek protection for them? He said: “Yes, for if anything preceded destiny, the eye would precede it.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah

Shifa' Bint 'abdullah (RA)
وَعَن الشَّفاءِ بنت عبد الله قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا عِنْدَ حَفْصَةَ فَقَالَ: «أَلَا تُعَلِّمِينَ هَذِهِ رُقْيَةَ النَّمْلَةِ كَمَا عَلَّمْتِيهَا الْكِتَابَةَ؟» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Al-Shifa bint Abdullah, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered while I was with Hafsa and said: “Don’t you teach this ruqyah for the ant as Did you teach her to write? . Narrated by Abu Dawood

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ: رَأَى عَامِرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ سَهْلَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ يَغْتَسِلُ فَقَالَ: وَاللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ وَلَا جِلْدَ مُخَبَّأَةٍ قَالَ: فَلُبِطَ سَهْلٌ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لَكَ فِي سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ؟ وَاللَّهِ مَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ: «هَلْ تَتَّهِمُونَ لَهُ أَحَدًا؟» فَقَالُوا: نَتَّهِمُ عَامِرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ: فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامِرًا فَتُغُلِّظَ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ: «عَلَامَ يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ؟ أَلَا بَرَّكْتَ؟ اغْتَسِلْ لَهُ» . فَغَسَلَ لَهُ عَامِرٌ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَمِرْفَقَيْهِ وَرُكْبَتَيْهِ وَأَطْرَافَ رِجْلَيْهِ وَدَاخِلَةَ إِزَارِهِ فِي قَدَحٍ ثُمَّ صُبَّ عَلَيْهِ فَرَاحَ مَعَ النَّاسِ لَيْسَ لَهُ بَأْس. رَوَاهُ فِي شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ وَرَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ وَفِي رِوَايَتِهِ: قَالَ: «إِن الْعين حق تَوَضَّأ لَهُ»
On the authority of Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif, he said: Amer bin Rabi’ah saw Sahl bin Hunaif bathing, and he said: By God, I have never seen anything like this today. And there is no skin hidden. He said: So Sahl was confused, and he came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he was told: O Messenger of God, do you have anything to do with Sahl bin Hanif? By God, he did not raise his head and said: “Are you accusing anyone against him?” They said: We accused Amer bin Rabi’ah. He said: So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called Amer and became harsh to him and said: “Why should one of you kill his brother?” Have you not been blessed? “Ghusl for him.” So Amer washed his face for him And his hands, his elbows, his knees, and the ends of his feet, and inside his garment, were in a bowl, then pouring water was poured over him, and he rejoiced with the people, and there was no harm in it. It was narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah, and it was narrated by Malik, and in his narration: He said: “The evil eye is a right for which one should perform ablution.”

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْجَانِّ وَعَيْنِ الْإِنْسَانِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتِ الْمُعَوِّذَتَانِ فَلَمَّا نزلت أَخذ بهما وَترك سِوَاهُمَا. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيث حسن غَرِيب
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was seeking refuge from the jinn and the human eye until the two exorcists were revealed, and when they were revealed He took them and left the others. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَلْ رُئِيَ فِيكُمُ الْمُغَرِّبُونَ؟» قُلْتُ: وَمَا الْمُغَرِّبُونَ؟ قَالَ: «الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرِكُ فِيهِمُ الْجِنُّ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me: “Have foreigners been seen among you?” I said: Who are the Westernizers? He said: “Those with whom the jinn participate.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
