Hadith #48882
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الطِّفْلُ لَا يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يَرِثُ وَلَا يُوَرَّثُ حَتَّى يَسْتَهِلَّ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ: «وَلَا يُورث»
On the authority of Jabir that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “A child may not be prayed over, inherited, or bequeathed until he has begun.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, but he did not mention: “And it is not inherited.”
