Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #52265

On the authority of Urwa bin Al-Zubayr, that Saeed bin Zaid bin Amr bin Nufayl, his rival, Arwa bint Uwais, went to Marwan bin Al-Hakam and she claimed that he had taken something from her land, so he said Glad I was taking something from its land after what I heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “And what did I hear from?” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: Whoever takes an inch of land unjustly will be surrounded by Seven lands, and Marwan said to him, “I do not ask you for proof after this.” He said, “O God, if she is lying, then blind her and kill her in Her land, he said, and she did not die until her sight went away. Then while she was walking in her land, she fell into a pit and died. Agreed upon, and in a narration by Muslim on the authority of Muhammad bin Zaid bin Abdullah bin Omar, with the same meaning, and that he saw a blind woman touching the walls, she says: Saeed's call touched me And she passed by a well in the house where she argued with him, and she fell into it, and it became her grave.
