Hadith #48982
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ لَا يُؤَدِّي زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي عُنُقِهِ شُجَاعًا» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا مِصْدَاقَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ: (وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يبلخون بِمَا آتَاهُم الله من فَضله)
الْآيَة. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “There is no man who does not pay the zakat on his wealth without God placing it around his neck on the Day of Resurrection. Brave.” Then he recited to us what was authenticated from the Book of God: (And do not think that they are deceitful about what God has given them of His bounty) the verse. He narrated it Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa’i, and Ibn Majah
