Hadith #49057
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The generous person is close to God, close to Paradise, close to people.” Far from the fire. The miserly person is far from God, far from Paradise, far from people, and close to Hell. And the ignorant is generous I am more beloved to God than a miserly worshipper.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
