Hadith #49321
On the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever reads the Qur’an and memorizes it, then it is permissible for him to read it.” And he forbade what was forbidden, God brought him into Paradise and made him intercede for ten of his family, all of whom were destined for Hell. It was narrated by him Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Al-Darimi, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a strange hadith, and Hafs bin Sulaiman, the narrator, is not strong. He is weak in the hadith.
