وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: بَيْنَا أَنَا سير مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَالْأَبْوَاءِ إِذْ غَشِيَتْنَا رِيحٌ وَظُلْمَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَوِّذُ ب (أعوذ بِرَبّ الفلق)
و (أعوذ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ)
وَيَقُولُ: «يَا عُقْبَةُ تَعَوَّذْ بِهِمَا فَمَا تَعَوَّذَ مُتَعَوِّذٌ بِمِثْلِهِمَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: While I was walking with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, between Al-Juhfah and Al-Abwa’, a wind and darkness enveloped us. Severe, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, began to seek refuge with (I seek refuge in the Lord of creation) and (I seek refuge in the Lord of people) and saying: “O Uqba, seek refuge “Therefore, no one seeks refuge in the like of them.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
